Hey girl hey! I'm Ashley.
I need to tell you something I don't talk about a lot publicly.
I lost my mom to cancer in my early twenties.
And if I'm being honest, that was the wake-up call that changed everything.
At the time, I was about 30 pounds heavier than I wanted to be. I was living an unhealthy lifestyle. I had a gym membership I never used because I genuinely hated going. Working out felt like a chore I was always trying to get out of.
And then I lost my mom. And I looked at my own health and thought: something has to change.
So I started trying. Again.
I dragged myself back to the gym. The same one I'd been paying for and avoiding. And guess what? I still hated it. The dread of going. The feeling of being watched. The machines I didn't know how to use. The whole vibe just felt like punishment.
And then one day, I walked into a dance fitness class.
And girl. Everything clicked.
I was sweating. I was smiling. I was actually having FUN. For the first time in my adult life, I finished a workout and thought: I want to do that again.
That class showed me something the fitness industry had never told me: working out doesn't have to hurt to work.
But I still had one problem. The food side of things.
I thought losing weight meant giving up everything I loved eating. I thought it meant restriction, hunger, and meal prepping sad containers of bland chicken and broccoli for the week.
Then I figured out the real secret: you can eat the foods you enjoy and still lose weight. It's not about restriction. It's about knowing how to eat around the foods you love so you're not white-knuckling your way through every day.
Once that clicked, I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. Not by suffering. Not by forcing myself through workouts I hated. Not by giving up date nights or takeout or the foods that make life good. By dancing. By eating realistically.
By showing up imperfectly and staying consistent because it actually felt good to do it. Since then, I've built a community of over 500,000 women who want the same thing. I've helped over 300 clients lose weight and feel confident in their bodies again.
